Double Stuffed Balloons

Have you ever heard the term “double stuffed balloons”? Well, it’s exactly what it sounds like, one balloon stuffed inside another balloon! But, the purpose of double stuffing balloons may surprise you.

When a professional balloon decorator double stuffs balloons, the purpose is to achieve a custom color. When you stuff one balloon with another balloon you are what we call “mixing” the two colors together to get a new color. A lot of what you see on Instagram, Pinterest, or in those balloon kits sold on Etsy are created with custom, double-stuffed colors.

Double stuffing balloons is a great way to get a more custom experience with balloons, but, do not be surprised when the price tag reflects this higher, custom experience. Since double stuffing means you are basically using double the product, a lot of balloon decorators charge more to incorporate custom, double-stuffed colors. If you buy a garland that uses all double-stuffed colors, you could be looking at double the price.
